Impacto J formed in São Paulo in 1986 as a Brazilian Christian music group. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1990, and they've kept at it with records like 'Novo Tempo' in 1993 and 'Depois da Tempestade' in 2012. Some of their songs, like 'Como Nuvens' and 'Liberdade', have stuck around in their setlists.
In the early 2000s, the band drew criticism from some conservative Christian circles for their musical direction. Then in 2004, lead singer Janine Mathias left. They brought in Bruna Olly as the new vocalist and kept going.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
