IMPACTY is a Brazilian electronic act that surfaced in the late 1990s. Their early track 'Festa Rave' became a staple in local clubs, built around a straightforward, driving beat that worked well on dance floors. They followed it with songs like 'Abdução Alienigena' and 'O Ritual do Trance', which leaned into the more hypnotic, repetitive end of the genre.

Their music often samples and reworks familiar elements from techno and trance. A track like 'Que Pais É Esse' uses a looped, rhythmic phrase as its foundation. They collaborated occasionally, as on 'The Music Is Moving' with Airplay, but generally stuck to their core sound of propulsive, four-on-the-floor electronic music aimed at the dance crowd.
