A Swedish band that's been playing heavy riffs and guttural vocals since 1990.
If you want to hear what Impaled does, put on 'Fæces Of Death' or 'Fæcal Rites'. It's all there in the titles.
Impaled's music is a no-frills take on extreme metal, with songs like 'Fæces Of Death' delivering exactly what the title promises. They formed in Gothenburg in 1990 and have stuck to their sound through eight studio albums, from 'The Dead Still Dead' to later records like 'Hordes from the Abyss'. Even a 1999 arrest for firearms charges didn't stop them from keeping the riffs coming.
Lars Rosenberg, Alexander Högbom, and Daniel Urbaniak started the band in 1990 and have remained its core through lineup shifts. Their debut 'The Dead Still Dead' set the tone, and they've followed it with albums like 'Malevolence'. The music has stayed brutal death metal the whole time.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
