In Mood formed in Paris in 2014 as a trio of brothers Jean-Baptiste and Antoine de Laubier with Arthur Simonini. They put out their first album 'Mind the Gap' in 2016, which introduced their electro-pop style with some cinematic touches. The track 'Ocean Of Light (feat. Juliette)' from that record got attention and became something of a calling card for them.
