A band built on ethereal soundscapes and quiet persistence since the late 1990s.
For a good sense of their sound, try 'Soul Tide' or 'Counting Clouds'. They're the kind of band that rewards a quiet listen.
Their debut album 'A Naked Cloud' in 2001 set the tone for their atmospheric, introspective sound, drawing from post-punk and shoegaze. Songs like 'Soul Tide' and 'Uniforms' show their ability to balance melody with texture, creating haunting and expansive soundscapes. They've always let the music speak for itself, maintaining a low profile over four albums.
Formed in the late 1990s around Eldric Bishop and Rio Monroy, they released 'A Naked Cloud' in 2001. After drummer Jade Rose left in 2004, Bishop and Monroy continued through lineup changes, putting out three more albums up to 'Aether' in 2019.
