Archive material and source history

Incrypt formed in Nashville in the early 2000s with vocalist Roniit Satz, guitarist Fernando Pena, bassist Bobby Guilmette, and drummer Mike Votta. Their debut album 'The Shadow Within' came out in 2004, mixing melodic death metal with progressive touches. They played metal festivals around that time.

Songs like 'Battle of Cronos' and 'Confess Sins' show their style. 'Battle of Cronos' came out in 2006 with charging riffs and Satz's vocals telling a story about the Titan Cronos. Pena left the band in 2009, and they brought in guitarist Dan to replace him.
