Infane formed in São Paulo with Pedro Américo, Fábio Olmos, and João Paulo Mattar playing a mix of heavy metal and Brazilian rhythms. Their early shows were energetic but rough, and they toured on a shoestring, sometimes sleeping in their van.
A 2002 festival performance changed things when their song "Beterraba" connected with the crowd. The track became a hit, leading to a major label deal and national tour. They released four studio albums, starting with "Infame" and including "Maldita Beterraba."
Beyond "Beterraba," their catalog includes songs like "Caminhos Que Mostrei," "Como Se Fosse Real," "Em Cada Instante," and "Eu Te Amo."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
