Infernal is a Danish electronic duo formed in 1997 by producer Paw Lagermann and vocalist Lina Rafn. They signed with EMI Records and released their debut single 'Sorti de L'Enfer' in 1998, which became a hit in Denmark.

Their international breakthrough came in 2004 with 'From Paris to Berlin,' a track that topped charts in multiple countries. Other songs in their catalog include 'A to the B' and 'The Intense Flame Will Burn Forever.'

In 2007, Rafn was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which led to canceled performances before she recovered and returned to performing. The duo faced criticism in 2013 for performing in Crimea after Russia's annexation of the region.
