Inplástika was a Brazilian band led by vocalist Leandréa Carvalho. They blended rock, reggae, and Brazilian rhythms, with lyrics that often addressed social issues like poverty and inequality. Their debut album was called 'Até os Miseráveis Têm Direitos,' and its title track became one of their defining songs.
Other musicians in the band included guitarist Nando Reis, bassist Fernando Nunes, and drummer Wilson Gomes. They released several albums over about twenty years, including 'Acústico' and a live recording from the Circo Voador venue.
Songs like 'Boa vida,' 'Caso sério,' and 'Garota do Mundo Velho' show their range from anthemic statements to more personal reflections.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
