Irma is a Paris-based pop band fronted by singer-songwriter Irma Marie. They first appeared in 2008 with the single "I Know," which caught attention with its introspective feel. An EP called "Faces" followed, mixing pop with soul and folk touches.
Their debut album "Letter to the Lord" arrived in 2011, featuring the song "Every Smile." That track became a hit in Europe and helped the band tour there. Later albums include "Ouh Ouh" from 2014 and "Overcome" from 2017.
Irma Marie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and continued writing music during treatment. The band has worked with artists like Ben Harper and Rufus Wainwright, and their songs have appeared in some films and TV shows.
