Irmãos Capixaba were a Brazilian duo of brothers, Edemilson and Everaldo, from Afonso Cláudio in Espírito Santo. They started singing together in their local church as kids. In 1989, they released their debut album 'Porque Sou Feliz,' and the title track became a hit.
After that first album, they put out records steadily through the 1990s, including 'Não Brinque Comigo' in 1990 and 'Noite Mágica' in 1991. Edemilson handled lead vocals and guitar, while Everaldo sang backing vocals and played bass.
In 1994, there was a plagiarism accusation about one of their songs that briefly interrupted their work. They kept making music afterward, releasing albums like 'Pra Sempre Te Amar' and 'Você Queima Meu Fogo.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
