Isa Star formed in São Paulo in 2006 with Isabella de Souza on vocals and guitar, Leandro Cunha on bass, and Rodrigo Moraes on drums. Their debut album 'Sentimentos' came out in 2008 and included the song 'Onde Será Que Você Está?', which became popular in Brazil.
After their first album, they released three more: 'Fragmentos' in 2010, 'Tempo' in 2013, and 'Aurora' in 2018. The band's lineup changed over time, with Cunha leaving in 2014 and Moraes departing in 2017. Isa Star disbanded in 2019.
Isabella de Souza has continued making music on her own since the band ended.
