Isaac Delusion formed in Paris with Loïc Fleury on vocals and guitar, Jérémie Delorme on guitar, Pierre Duret on bass, and Thibault Delorme on drums. They started putting out music around 2013 with an EP called 'Midnight Sun,' then followed it with a self-titled album in 2015.
Their songs like 'Isabella' and 'Fancy' have a light, drifting quality that mixes indie pop with some electronic touches. It's the kind of music that feels both current and slightly nostalgic, built around Fleury's airy vocals and clean guitar lines.
They've kept a fairly steady presence in the French indie scene since then, releasing more material and playing shows. Tracks such as 'How Much (You Want Her)' and 'The Sinner' show they've stuck with that hazy, melodic approach without needing to overhaul it completely.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
