Isabelle Hyde is an indie rock band that formed in Los Angeles around 2015. The group started with vocalist Isabelle Hyde, guitarist Ethan James, bassist Oliver Parks, and drummer Maya Davis. Their first release was a 2016 EP called "Whispers in the Dark."
In 2018, they put out an album titled "I'm Here," which included the song of the same name. That track got some attention and helped the band reach more listeners. Around that time, there was some talk about similarities to another song, though the details were never quite clear.
By 2020, James and Parks had left the band. Hyde continued with new musicians, releasing "Echoes" in 2021 and "The Shadow Side" in 2023. The music has kept a certain atmospheric quality that people noticed from the beginning.
