Isabor formed in Salvador, Bahia in the early 2000s around brothers Alexandre and Rafael Almeida. Their music draws from the region's African-Brazilian traditions, mixing samba and reggae rhythms with pop and funk elements.
Their 2005 debut album included the track "Vem," which became popular for parties and celebrations across Brazil. They followed with other songs like "Deixa" and "Toca o Tambor," exploring different moods from ballads to percussive dance numbers.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
