Isaias Jr. formed in Rio de Janeiro in the early 1990s, led by frontman Marcos Isaias. Their early years involved financial struggles and difficulty finding places to play.
In 1996, they released "A Guerra e Os Guerreiros," a song whose lyrics about violence and peace connected with Brazilian listeners. Other songs from their catalog include "Santidade" and "A Vida Continua."
They eventually returned to recording and touring.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
