In 2006, Ferreira was arrested on drug charges, which led to a break from performing. The band later faced legal disputes over their music rights. They continued to release songs like "A Velhinha Abandonada" and "AMANTE AMIGO" that maintained their connection with listeners.
Over time, other musicians joined the lineup, including Edinho Ferreira on drums, Leo Carvalho on bass, and Márcio Ferreira on guitar. Their catalog includes tracks such as "Não Deu Pra Lhe Esquecer" alongside earlier hits.
