Ivycomb formed in London with Amelia Hamilton on vocals, Ethan James on guitar, Oliver Carter on bass, and Daniel Reed on drums. Their first EP, 'False Idol,' came out in 2017 and included the title track that got some attention. They followed with the album 'The Veil' in 2019 and 'Reverie' in 2022.
Their song 'False Idol' was at the center of a plagiarism dispute in 2018, which the band denied. The group's sound tends toward the atmospheric, with Hamilton's voice carrying most of the melodic weight.
