Jaago Music is a collective that brings together musicians from different backgrounds to work with traditional Indian folk sounds. The group includes vocalist Allen Ganta, bobbili player Narsinga Bobbili, violinist Prakruthi Angelina, and bassist Sheldon Bangera. They first performed together at the Jaago Festival in 2017.
In 2020, they released their debut album 'Nene Na.' Their single 'Changa' features all four members and draws from folk traditions in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The group's approach has sometimes drawn questions from listeners who prefer more traditional presentations of the material.
