In 2004, she released 'Os Três,' a song about a love triangle that became widely popular in Brazil. She has continued recording albums like 'Só Samba' in 2006 and 'Brasil de Todas as Cores' in 2010.
In 2012, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent treatment. She has also been an advocate for social justice and LGBTQ+ rights, which has sometimes drawn attention alongside her music.
