Jack Rosies formed in Manchester in 2016 as an indie-rock band fronted by vocalist and songwriter Amelia Rose. Their debut EP was called 'Illusions,' and early on they included guitarist Ethan 'EJ' James and drummer Callum Knight. James left the group in 2017, leaving Rose and Knight to continue as a duo.
In 2019, the duo released their first album, 'Your Best Friend.' The title track became their most notable song, gaining significant streaming attention.
They followed with a second album called 'The Hollow' and a third in 2022 titled 'Ashes,' which showed a move toward more experimental, atmospheric production. Their music has drawn from indie rock, folk, and electronic influences, and they've worked with artists like Phoebe Bridgers and James Blake.
