Jack Society formed in São Paulo in 2013 when André Leon, Guilherme Souza, and Leco started playing together. Their debut single "Declaração" caught on quickly, becoming one of their most recognizable songs. They followed it with tracks like "Incomum" and "Lembranças," which carried a similar acoustic pop feel.
Their first album was self-titled, and they later put out another called "Infinito." The music tends to stay in that melodic, guitar-based territory, with lyrics that often circle around relationships and memory. Songs like "Folhas Secas" and "Sua Falta" fit right into that pattern.
They've had some disagreements with listeners over certain lyrics, but that hasn't shifted their approach much. They still work in that same space, writing straightforward pop songs that connect with a particular audience in Brazil.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
