Archive material and source history

Jacks of All Trades came up in the early 2000s with a sound that mixed rock, metal, and electronic elements. Their debut single "All Hope Is Gone" got them some attention, and they put out their first album under that same title in 2003. The band included Brandon Bruce on vocals and guitar, Justin Jackson on lead guitar, Adam Axelrod on bass, and Mike Morgan on drums.

They followed up with albums like "Unleashed" in 2005 and "Nocturne" in 2007, which leaned into more atmospheric territory. By 2009's "Dominion," they had circled back to a heavier approach. Their catalog also includes songs like "Anguish," "Awesome Power," and "Bow Down."

At one point in 2006, a member was involved in a domestic disturbance and was temporarily dismissed from the group. They faced some criticism over their aggressive sound and lyrics, but kept making music through the late 2000s and into 2011 with the album "Ashes."
