Jackson Rohm formed in the early 2000s around brothers Justin and Jordan Rohm. Their 2006 single "Gasoline And Matches" became a hit, pulling them into wider recognition.
Justin handles vocals and guitar, with Jordan on bass and backing vocals. Over time, other musicians like drummer David Rublin and guitarist Todd Conover have played with the group. They've put out albums including "Gasoline and Matches" in 2006, "Darkness and Light" in 2009, and "The Fire Within" in 2015.
Songs like "Vanity" and "Honesty Is Easy" show the band's lean toward direct, guitar-driven rock. Their sound doesn't fuss much with genre blending; it's mostly rock with an alternative feel, built for live shows. They've kept at it, releasing "Rise of the Phoenix" as recently as 2020.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
