Jaco El Cland formed in Medellín around 2012, led by singer-songwriter Jacobo Vélez. They've put out albums including 'Bonita' in 2015, 'Retratos' in 2017, and 'Todas las noches' in 2019. Vélez has kept the project going through some lineup changes, with musicians like Juan Carlos Castaño on bass and Raúl Ríos on drums appearing in the band.
