Jacob Collier

Jacob Collier is a British multi-instrumentalist and singer who started putting music out in 2011 with his debut EP 'In My Room.' He studied at the Royal College of Music in London, and his early influences included Stevie Wonder and Bach. Those varied touchpoints show up in his work, which moves between jazz, folk, classical, and electronic music without settling into one lane.

Songs like 'Ocean Wide, Canyon Deep' and 'Feel,' which features Lianne La Havas, are built on intricate vocal arrangements and layered instrumentation. He often works with other artists, including Herbie Hancock and Sam Smith, and his 2022 track 'Never Gonna Be Alone' featured Lizzy McAlpine and John Mayer.

Collier records and performs mostly as a solo artist, though he regularly brings in collaborators for specific projects.
