The Jaded Juiced Riders formed in Seattle in the late 1990s as a trio: guitarist and vocalist Jake "Razor" Carter, bassist and keyboardist Emily "Siren" Davis, and drummer Mike "Animal" Anderson. They put out their debut album 'Around' in 1999, which included the title track that became a radio hit.
Their sound pulled from grunge, punk, and psychedelic rock, and they built a reputation through steady touring. The band faced some pushback for explicit lyrics and provocative album art, particularly around their later release 'Unleashed,' but kept playing through it. Other songs from that period include 'Year 22' and 'Blackies.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
