Jáder formed in Fortaleza in 2007 with Daniel Peixoto and Raoni Carneiro on vocals, Fábio Menezes on bass, Jean Naza on guitar, and Fred Castro on drums. Their first album came out in 2013, simply titled 'Jáder,' and included the track 'Se Lascou.' That song caught on with listeners, becoming something of an anthem for the band's following.
In 2015, there were accusations that 'Se Lascou' had borrowed its melody from another source. The claims were eventually dismissed, but they lingered for a while. The group kept working, and in 2016 they put out a second album called 'O Segundo.'
