A Spanish rock group from Alicante that's been building their catalog since 2009.
For a sense of their sound, start with "Muy Lejos" or "Convencido." They give you the basic shape of what Jafú does.
They've carved out a space in Spanish rock with songs that feel grounded and direct. Tracks like "Muy Lejos" and "Promesas Al Aire" have that straightforward rock energy that connects without overcomplicating things. Their collaboration with Nicole Favre on "Volando Bajito" shows they're willing to stretch a bit while staying in their lane.
Jafú formed in Alicante in 2009 with Javier Vidal on vocals and Alfonso de la Cruz on guitar. Their debut album "Convénceme" came out in 2012, followed by "Al Límite" in 2014. They've kept building from there with songs like "A Diario" and that collaboration with El Bebeto on "Me Quito El Sombrero."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
