Jailane Santos started singing in Rio de Janeiro, where she grew up hearing samba and bossa nova. She put out her first single, "Amor Sem Razão," in 2016, and it got some radio play. Her songs often deal with love and social issues, like in "Mulher Guerrilheira," which came out in 2018 and stirred some talk about women's strength.
She has a few albums out, including Amor Sem Razão from 2016, Alma Brasileira from 2018, and Voz da Resistência from 2020. Some of her other tracks are "Rompendo Barreiras," "Deus Existe," and "Armas de Guerra." Her music mixes Brazilian rhythms with pop and R&B sounds.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
