Jaisua formed in Los Angeles around vocalist Anya Moon and guitarist Ethan Jones, with Alex Kim on bass and Jake Silva on drums. Their first single 'Oblivion (feat. Kid Tris)' came out in 2023 and got them some attention. They've also released songs like 'Wildest Dreams (Feat. Mikae)' and 'Breathe (Feat. Adanna Duru)' that show their collaborative approach.
After some early lineup changes, Sophia Park replaced Alex Kim on bass. They put out a debut album called 'Echoes of the Void' that mixed atmospheric electronica with rock elements. Later records included 'Elysium' and 'Ashes to Ashes'.
Their music videos drew criticism from some quarters while others defended them as artistic expression.
