James Ghareeb

James Ghareeb is a musician from Beirut, Lebanon. He formed a band under his own name in 2008, with a lineup that includes several family members on backing vocals, bass, drums, and strings. The group's best-known track is "Colours," which appeared on a 2014 release of the same name. They've put out a few other albums and EPs since, including 2016's "The Colouring Book" and 2020's "Senses."

Their music tends to blend orchestral elements with electronic touches, and the lyrics often lean toward spiritual or introspective themes. Live shows are reportedly immersive, with a theatrical quality that goes beyond a standard concert. While the band's sound has drawn some criticism for being unconventional, Ghareeb has generally stuck to his own approach without much compromise.
