Jamie Yost

Jamie Yost grew up in West Virginia, where she first heard music in churches and Appalachian folk gatherings. That background shows in her work, which leans toward folk and Americana. She released her debut album, also called 'Ravens,' in the early 2000s. The title track became her most recognizable song, a ballad built around her voice and sparse arrangements.
