As part of Infinite, Dongwoo contributed vocals to the group's releases. He also pursued solo work, putting out his first single 'Party Girl' in 2016. That track appeared alongside others like 'Perfect' and 'Something Between' in his catalog.
In 2017, plagiarism accusations surfaced around his solo song 'I'm Saying,' though they were later dropped. Dongwoo continued performing with Infinite while maintaining his own recording projects.
