Jansen is a Brazilian band fronted by vocalist and songwriter Rafael Jansen. They formed in Salvador, Bahia, where Rafael started out as a busker before the band released their debut album 'Pra Ser Feliz' in 2006. That album included 'Tô Me Apegando,' which became a hit in Brazil.
Their music draws from samba, pop, and reggae, with songs like 'Status,' 'Acabou o Amor,' and 'Netflix' in their catalog. The band's lineup includes Rafael Jansen on vocals and guitar, Henrique Almeida on bass, and Marcio Santos on drums.
In 2008, Jansen faced a legal dispute over their music rights that led to a break in activity. They've worked with other Brazilian artists including Ivete Sangalo and Jorge Aragão.
Later albums include 'Som da Felicidade' from 2010, 'Sem Medo' from 2012, and 'Amor e Fé' from 2015.
