Jaqueline Lopez came up singing in churches and community gatherings around Salvador, Bahia. Producer Luciano Pinto heard her and helped put together her first album in 2012, which was called 'Não Dá Pra Viver' after its title track. That song caught on in Brazil, and the record got her some attention.
She's worked with people like Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso, and her music has touched on samba and soul. Another one of her songs is 'Nilmar Eu Te Amo.' In 2018 she put out an album called 'Solto' that dealt with ideas about freedom and being yourself.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
