When i was a kid

There were movies i'd make in my mind

Visions so realistic

I'd get all worked up til i'd cry

Who would i be and what would i be like

Me as the singer with my pretty wife

I could sing with a hero

I'd lay down my life

Just to have their wanted soul so bad

I believe what's meant to be

I've been searching for what i need

I was 18, my very first month

Away from home

Then i caught your attention

When you heard me sing that first note
