Archive material and source history

Jaywalk formed in Japan in 2003, with Izumi Mori on vocals, Ryosuke Fujita on guitar, Hiroyuki Takada on bass, and Masami Nishimoto on drums. They put out their first album, 'Departure,' the next year. In 2006, their song 'Abaron No Kanata E' was used as the theme for the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam 00, which helped it reach a wider audience.

Other tracks like 'Amenimo Kazenimo' and 'Nani Mo Ienakute... Natsu' also became well-known. The band kept releasing albums through the late 2000s, including 'Beyond the Horizon' in 2006 and 'The World Is Still Beautiful' in 2008.

In 2009, vocalist Izumi Mori was arrested for drug possession, which led to a break in their activities. They eventually started playing again, but that period was a noticeable interruption.
