Jaz Ellington formed in London around 2010, led by vocalist Jazmine Ellington. She had been performing in West End musicals before meeting guitarist Matthew Deighton, bassist Oliver Neil, and drummer Ben Powling. Their first EP, "Unveiled," came out in 2011.
In 2013, they released the album "Ordinary People." The title track became their most recognizable song.
