I've bathed in pools of- and blossom with the buds

So I'm headed south tomorrow on the route to Bougainville

To a cab driver with rosaries and then he softly says

They hitched a ride right out of town and didn't pay a cent

And hand me scraps of paper scrawled with poems that they wrotе
