Jean e Junior formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1994 when Jean Carlo and Juvenal de Oliveira started singing together. Their debut album 'Lembranças' came out in 1996, and its title track became one of their most recognizable songs.
They released several albums in the late 1990s including 'Solidão' and 'Alma Gêmea'. Other songs like 'Secretária de Sucesso' and 'Chuva De Saudade' also became part of their catalog.
The duo split up in 2002 and pursued separate projects for several years. They reunited in 2009 and performed together again, though they faced some personal challenges that affected their work at times.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
