Jeito Travesso

Jeito Travesso formed in the early 2000s in Rio de Janeiro with vocalist and guitarist Caio Ourique, bassist Edu Abreu, and drummer Rodrigo Batera. They released their self-titled debut album in 2004, which included the single 'Primeiro Beijo.' That song became a hit, connecting with listeners through its straightforward take on first love.

Their music often dealt with teenage feelings and rebellion, which sometimes drew criticism from those who found it too direct. The band kept making the music they wanted to make anyway. They put out albums like 'Nosso Mundo' in 2006 and 'Ao Vivo em SP' in 2008, and their sound developed over time while staying grounded in pop-punk.

Other songs like 'Sem Limites e Sem Regras' and 'A Marca de Uma Lágrima' show their range within that style. The three original members stayed together through the years, which gave their work a consistent feel. They connected with a lot of young Brazilian listeners who appreciated their unpolished approach.
