Jekner

Jekner formed in Caracas, Venezuela, playing early shows at local bars and festivals. Their sound didn't fit neatly into traditional Latin music categories, which drew some criticism at first. That track, along with others like "No Quiere Na" and "TÚ," helped establish their presence. The band performed at festivals and collaborated with other artists, including Adonis on "Tu Aroma."

Their catalog includes songs like "Un Placer" that show their range, but they never became a straightforward commercial act. They maintained a certain independence in how they approached their music, which kept their work distinctive even as they reached more listeners.
