Jelly Candies is a Brazilian dance-pop band led by vocalist Mayra Arduini, with Guilherme Arduini on guitar, Bruno Arduini on drums, André Makoski on bass, and Bruno Vieira on keyboards. They released their self-titled debut album in 2014, which included the song 'Um Dia'. In 2018, they put out a second album called 'O Céu é o Limite'.
In 2015, Mayra Arduini was diagnosed with a thyroid condition that affected her voice, but she returned to performing after treatment. A few years later, in 2018, the band faced accusations that 'Um Dia' had plagiarized another artist's melody, though the allegations were dismissed.
They've played at festivals like Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza.
