Jeon Sang Geun

Jeon Sang Geun formed in 2006 as a trio with vocalist and guitarist Jeon Sang Geun, bassist Kim Hak Min, and drummer Cha Seung Won. They spent their early years playing small venues and street corners around Seoul, gradually building recognition in the underground scene while dealing with the usual financial pressures of a new band.

Their 2010 song 'My Room My Heart' became a hit, with its melancholy melody and lyrics about solitude connecting with listeners. The album of the same name found commercial success, moving them beyond the underground circuit.

Their songs often explore quiet, introspective themes. Another track like 'You For Just One Day' continues in that vein, with straightforward arrangements built around guitar, bass, and drums.
