Jessé Aguiar formed his band in 2015 with bassist André Diblasio, drummer Bruno Dupre, and guitarist Arthur Cabelo. They came together in São Paulo, where Aguiar grew up, and started playing a mix of pop, rock, and Brazilian styles.
In 2017, the song "Alívio" became their breakthrough. Its melody and lyrics connected with listeners, and it reached the top of the charts in Brazil. That success put Aguiar on the map as a new voice in Brazilian music.
After "Alívio," they released albums like "Origens" in 2018 and "Eclipse" in 2020. They've toured Brazil and worked with other artists, including Ivete Sangalo and Pabllo Vittar. Other songs like "Eu Não Desisto" and "Deixa a Lágrima Descer" show the band's range from anthemic rock to more reflective moments.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
