Jesse Woods is an indie folk singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. He started playing local open mics and released his debut album 'Breaking the Chains' in 2011. His second album 'Down to the Wire' came out in 2014 and included the song 'Gold In The Air,' which became his most recognized track.
He followed that with 'Lore' in 2017 and 'The Wilderness' in 2020. Other songs in his catalog include 'Broken Cowboy,' 'Holding On To a River,' and 'Ugly Dress.' He has worked with musicians like Michael Buckley on bass, Mark Sherwood on drums, and Erin Rae on vocals and piano.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
