Jessica 6 formed in 2003, with Jessica Lea Mayfield as the frontwoman. Their second album, "White Horse," came out in 2006 and included songs like "Blessed Mother" and "Fun Girl." The band's sound drew from folk and indie rock, with Mayfield's vocals often described as haunting.
In 2007, Mayfield left the group. Jessica 6 continued for a few more years, releasing "The View from the Top of the World" in 2008 before disbanding in 2012. They put out three studio albums total, starting with "See You, Remember Me" in 2004.
