Jessica Jung

Jessica Jung began her solo career in 2014 after leaving Girls' Generation, the K-pop group she debuted with in 2007. Her first single was "One More Christmas," and she followed it with albums like "With Love, J" in 2016 and "Wonderland" later that same year. Songs such as "Fly" and "Almost" show her leaning toward pop and R&B with straightforward, melodic vocals.

She records and performs as a solo artist, working with different producers and musicians on each project. Her music doesn't try to reinvent anything, it's clean, midtempo pop with enough space for her voice to sit up front. The 2018 release "My Decade" rounded out a period where she established a consistent, if understated, solo presence.

Born in San Francisco, she moved to South Korea as a teenager to train. That background sometimes surfaces in her English-language tracks, like the English version of "Fly," but mostly she operates within the K-pop soloist lane, polished, vocal-focused, and reliably melodic.
