Marrapaz! Bobó, quando tá tocando gaita, é mais descansado do que caranguejo almoçando. Passou uns dias aqui, no sertão, só dormindo, bebendo e tocando aquela gaita cheia de pitoco. Bem cedo, cinco e meia; eu cheguei e disse: "Bobó, tu não tinha uma viagem pra São Paulo, pro programa de Boldrin?" Ele disse: "É no dia 22". Eu disse: "Vinte e dois é hoje, home de Deus!!!"…Cuida que já é mei dia em ponto!!!!
Aí ele saiu que nem uma vaca acuada de cachorro… E correu pra Campina Grande…

Zefinha foi pra rodoviária… Ele tava lá, tranquilo que só jumento em sombra de igreja; bem dizer com uma muda de roupa, a gaita. Aí Zefinha disse: "Bobó, tu não vai pra São Paulo, pro programa de Boldrin; tu não tem um figurino de vergonha, home de Deus? Vai-te embora comprar uma roupa apresentave!!!"
